The grass has been allowed to return to native buffalo. This is the seventh year of no till, with first 4 years mowing weeds, etc., as the native grass came alive once again. The paddocks south and southwest of the house are near 95% buffalo grass, with remainder being bind weeds. The buffalo grass will eventually choke out anything that lives with the exception of cactus.
