The utility room opens from the den and has a washer, dryer and stainless steel sink. Custom made cabinets, made of ash wood are constructed in two locations. One cabinet is immediately to right of washer just inside entry way. A second cabinet, stacked three high, is immediately to the left as you enter the room. A window is over the washer where one can look out onto the enclosed patio. A door is on the west wall and opens into the back yard/patio.
A second room joins the utility room. This room contains the hot water heater (100 gallon), and one of the two six ton HVAC units. Additionally, in this room are the switch panel for the backup generator and the main breaker box for the entire property. This room has custom made shelving and hanging space. Below the shelf is a wooden shoe rest. A central TV control center directs a TV signal to each room of the house and is located on east wall of this room.
The DISH satellite receiver is also located in this room.
